Hi, I’m Rae—the reader behind Booked Beyond Measure.

I’ve always been a lover of stories, and somewhere along the way, reading became more than just something I enjoyed. Books became a way to connect, escape, learn, laugh, question, and sometimes see the world a little differently.

I’m the kind of reader who will happily recommend a book one minute and then spend the next twenty minutes explaining exactly why I loved it—or why I absolutely did not.

I started Booked Beyond Measure on Instagram as a place to share my love of books, honest reviews, and all the thoughts that come with being a reader. But sometimes an Instagram caption just isn’t enough. So, I created this space to dig a little deeper.

Here, you’ll find spoiler-free reviews, book recommendations, reading reflections, vibe checks, bookish lists, and the occasional soundtrack for the stories that stay with me.

I read across genres and don’t believe every book has to be a five-star read to be worth talking about. Sometimes a book changes you. Sometimes it entertains you. Sometimes it teaches you something. And sometimes you finish it and think, “Well, that was certainly a book.” 

All of those reading experiences are welcome here.
